It’s not advised to have the same password for each site and service you use, so there’s a need to have different ones that suit your needs. However, remembering every single one of them can be a tricky task. That’s when 1Password (Mod Premium) kicks in, and it surely will be one of the most prolific tools on your mobile device.

Introduction to 1Password

There are loads of apps on the Play Store that offers password management, but they tend to be buggy and not secure enough. 1Password has been up there for a while now, and I believe that it’s worth the reputation. If you need to log in to sites with a few simple taps, generate new passwords, and store hundreds of online passwords, this app is a must-get. 1Passwords works reliably, and it’s easy to use as well.

Setting up your master password

This is the most critical step for any password manager nowadays.

All of your effort to store your password will go to waste if your device is taken, and there’s no lock on the app. The master password holds access to all of your information on this app.
The app doesn’t have a suggestion for setting a strong master password, so I’d say that you need something memorable and robust enough.

The emergency kit

To prevent the worst case, which is you forgetting everything that unlocks 1Password, the emergency kit is a PDF file with everything you need to sign in to your services. Remember to put that PDF somewhere secured, like an encrypted USB drive, or you can print it out and store the paper somewhere safe.

A trusted family member can also work with the emergency kit. In case of illness, the authorized person can access your information. Just tell them where you store the file!

What’s good about this app?

New password generator

Sometimes thinking of a new password can be a challenging task. It’s not easy to get out of the loop, which are passwords related to your name, or similar personal information. So why don’t we let 1Password do the job? The app can generate a totally random password with all necessary security requirements like uppercase letters or unique characters. Malicious hackers will have a hard time figuring them out! 1Password then stores your codes in an encrypted vault that only you can have access to.

1Password PRO is easy to use

First things first, what I find the most intuitive about this app is that it’s effortless to familiarize yourself. Take a look at its rivalry password managers like LastPass and Dashlane, which have more complicated layouts. When I tackled 1Password for the first time, it wasn’t long before I could figure out how to use it. 1Password shows all the necessary features and essential tasks navigably, and they look attractive as well.

Storing your password is a simple process. Select your site, input your username and password, and you’re ready to go. 1Password is also sensitive if there are any changes. If you change your codes on the web and use it to log in to a site, the app will prompt you to update the information.

Automate your login procedures

What is more, the login process should become much more straightforward than before. Upon visiting a site through your browser, the 1Password icon will appear. From there, you can select a suitable account for your website. That should take you approximately a few seconds, and it’s pretty straightforward.

Storing multiple information with high security

The app lets you manage not only your passwords, but also your credentials such as your ID, or credit card numbers. If you want to keep things separate, you can create multiple vaults to store them.

As the information is stored locally, there’s no way someone can grab hold of it. Even the creators of 1Password can do nothing to steal it away from you.

What can improve?

Watchtower feature

In short, this is like an analysis of your data. Anyway, I feel like that AgileBit can make it more robust.

After a while, some of your passwords will inevitably be duplicated. Watchtower doesn’t detect that, and that’s a huge setback. Of course, that is no big deal, but navigating to find the right one is a stressful task.

No camera support

This could mean that I can just take a snapshot of my ID, and let the app fill in everything necessary. However, manual input is a time-consuming process, and I hope AgileBit can integrate it into future updates.
